The QuickPlane foam planer has been the standard in the industry for almost 20 years. It is the manufacturer's goal to continue that standard by striving to continually meet the special needs of closed cell rigid foam contractors. The QuickPlane is durable enough to withstand construction site use, yet it is light weight and simple enough to be user friendly. The combination of virtually unbreakable blades, sturdy aluminum construction and minimal down time has made The Quickplane foam planer the standard for planing rigid polyurethane foams. The QuickPlanes are available for both 16" or 24" applications and come with a special purpose blade. The special purpose blades have been designed to give a very sharp slicing action to cut polyurethane foam. These blades are specially designed for cutting foam with a density of 2 lbs or greater. Requirements: The air motor operates most efficiently when air pressure is maintained at 87-90psi, delivering 23cfm. Incoming air should be dry, clean and filtered. In order to get the best performance, lubricate the QuickPlane at least once every 8 hours. Air motor oil specifically recommended for this motor is available through any good air tool supply house. WARNING - Although every effort has been made to make the QuickPlane and its blade as safe as possible, the user must use extreme caution; wear protective clothing and good quality heavy duty gloves when handling these tools.
